Revolutionary new teeth straightening method
A smile can change everything. Your confidence. Your outlook. Your life. With Invisalign, achieving the smile you always dreamed of doesn’t have to be a challenge. In fact, it barely has to impact your day-to-day life at all.
What is Invisalign?
The Invisalign system uses a series of almost invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made for maximum comfort. Each aligner moves teeth incrementally and is worn for about two weeks, then replaced by the next in the series until the final position is achieved.
Comfortable, transparent and removable – Invisalign transforms your smile without impacting your everyday life. Something already experienced by more than three million people around the world.
When you begin your Invisalign treatment, you will wear each set of custom-made aligners in two-week increments. As you progress through the series of aligners, your teeth will begin moving, little by little, gradually moving towards the projected final position. During this period, you will have occasional check-ups with your dentist to monitor your progress and ensure you are comfortable with the treatment.
What are the advantages of Invisalign?
It is a comfortable method of teeth straightening as Invisalign does not use wires or brackets that can chafe or cause irritation. The clear aligner is very discrete and can be removed when you are eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. The combination of an almost an invisible aligner and the ability to remove it when you need to, has made Invisalign a very popular alternative for people who wish to straighten their teeth without using the classic metal braces.
A treatment plan tailor-made just for you.
Before we can start your treatment, your teeth are scanned with a digital camera, to determine whether they can be straightened using the Invisalign method. When this has been confirmed, a treatment plan is tailor-made for you and your teeth using a virtual 3D system. With the help of a computer you will be able to see how much your teeth are expected to move during the course of the treatment, as well as what they can be expected to look like when treatment has been completed using the Invisalign method.
